NexTermTerms of Service
These terms govern your purchase and use of NexTerm, a macOS application published by Innovative Supply LLC (“we”, “us”). By installing or using NexTerm you agree to them.

1. Your licence
When you buy NexTerm we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the version you purchased, for personal or commercial work, subject to these terms.
One licence key activates one Mac at a time. You may move your licence between machines as often as you like: deactivate it in Settings → License on the first Mac, then activate it on the next. If you want NexTerm running on two machines simultaneously, buy a second key.
Your licence is perpetual. If you stop paying for anything, or we stop selling NexTerm entirely, the version you bought keeps working.
2. Free trial
NexTerm runs as a full-featured trial for 14 days from first launch. Nothing is withheld during the trial and no payment details are required. When the trial ends the app asks for a licence key; your connections, keys and settings remain on your Mac untouched and become available again the moment you activate.
3. What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense or publish the application or your licence key.
- Share a licence key with people outside your household or organisation.
- Circumvent, disable or tamper with the licensing system.
- Reverse engineer the application except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
- Use NexTerm to access systems you are not authorised to access.
4. Updates and support
Your purchase includes one year of updates from the date of purchase, delivered in-app. After that year the version you own continues to work indefinitely; new major versions may require a new purchase. We are not obliged to release any particular update or feature.
Support is provided by email at support@nexterm.io on a reasonable-efforts basis. There is no guaranteed response time.
5. Purchase, pricing and refunds
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, invoicing and applicable sales tax or VAT, and its terms apply to the transaction itself. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

6. Your servers and third-party services
NexTerm connects to systems that you choose and configure — SSH hosts, SFTP servers, databases, Docker and Cloudron installations, and cloud provider APIs. You are responsible for those systems, for having authorisation to access them, and for the consequences of commands you run through NexTerm.
Optional features contact third parties on your instruction and with your own credentials: the AI assistant uses Anthropic's API with an API key you supply, and the DigitalOcean integration uses a token you supply. Those providers' terms and privacy policies govern that use. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and when.
7. Ownership
NexTerm, its source code, design and trademarks remain our property. These terms grant you a licence to use the software, not ownership of it. NexTerm includes third-party open-source components, each under its own licence; those licences continue to apply to those components.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
NexTerm is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to NexTerm is limited to the amount you paid for your licence in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.
NexTerm is a tool for administering servers and databases. Commands you run and changes you make through it can destroy data. Keep backups. You accept responsibility for what you do with the software.
10. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use NexTerm. We may terminate your licence if you materially breach them — for example by redistributing keys or circumventing licensing. On termination you must stop using the application and remove it from your machines. Sections 7 to 9 survive termination.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
